New/Old friend

It has been a long time since my last post in this blog. I know and I am really sorry about that but not for what is this post about.

You know sometimes life is strange. Really strange. So when you think things are going in a particular way, they turn out to be in the way that most get you surprised. Today I was chatting with an old friend, and I don't know how, starting from a joke we fell in a more serious topic: changes in friendship.

I am sure you what I am talking about. It could happen that you and one of your friends in your life meet a crossroad and, for an unknown reason or just for a major event in your life, you and the other person decide to get different ways and there is nothing you can do to avoid it. It just happens.

But life could give you another chance to walk again in the same route with your old/new friend and you find out that your friendship get closer this time. This is the major change in my life since the last time I wrote here. I have a new/old friend (maybe a sister for the way I feel close to her).

Thank you LIFE for this new gift.

So to celebrate this not so slight return enjoy this Slight Return by Stevie Ray.

Following dreams

Last night I was surfing the web, as ever, looking for nothing when I had the idea of take a look at the price of house rents in Milan.

Mr. Mind: hey! Dude... wake up! Instead to waste your time doing nothing what do you think about looking for houses in Milan?

Me: mmm...I don't know...

Mr. Mind: Come on man... it could be funny...

Me: well...OK let's get started.

-- After a while --

Me: hey take a look!

"For rent new beautiful flat near Bovisa Politecnico (10 minutes
walk). 45 mq for one/two students ideal for one year of Erasmus. 700
euro + maintenance fees"

Mr. M.: 700E? Are you crazy?

Me: but it's near to the University and you know I could share it with
Salvo.

Mr M.: let me think 45/2=22.5... it's an arse hole.

Me: oh sure! Give me the phone maybe Letizia will rent me the
Sforzesco Castle!! what do you expect?

Mr.M: you wanna let me leave here our HOME for what? a arse hole in one of the most pollute city of the country and for what?

Me: Following a dream?

Mr.M: Men don't live of dreams... I do it and that's why it could be a wonderful house... but keep in mind that less space == less privacy if you live with another person. don't be lazy... take a look at the next one...

Me: I am not LAZY. It's near the University so I won't spent too much time on public transports and I have more time to study.

Mr Mind:...

Me: take a look at that... I think we could effort this...

Mr Mind: Oh sure... we can...

Me: that's the one so...

Mr M.: but you haven't keep in regard the bus or train pass, haven't you?

Me: what?

Mr M.: hellooo! it's in Varese!

Me: ops... :) sorry it's late we have been looking house ads for two hours... be patient

Mr.M.: look at this instead...it's a room in a flat
80Mq (320E), Internet connection, 7Th flor with elevator

Me: it's a bit far... but near there is a subway station...yep it could be a good solution... and this too look

Mr.M.: the last one is perfect 4Km from the University!! this is the ONE!

Me: Perfect! We found it...now we miss only one thing...

Mr.M.: what?

Me: the DEGREE!

Mr.M: OK I guess it's time to go bed! Good Night

Jiminy Cricket

Life (and people more) could be very unfair.

Before I start writing without holding in, I want to tell you something about the camp (as I promised 1 post ago).

If I should use a single word to let you understand how was the last week I will probably say "so so". Maybe I was expecting too much from who is no more able to give.

The only thing I am very proud is that my guides and scouts enjoyed the being and playing together. I think I made a good job with them (maybe I did some little error of inexperience, but made with good purpose in mind) and I hope this camp will be the start of something good.

So I guess you are asking why my judgement is only a "so so"...
As I said in the first line, Life could be very unfair... This year Life gave me the Jiminy Cricket mask and told me to be as honest with my mind as I could without be too much revolutionary. I tried hard but is well known that Truth sometime hurts harder than lies, with the result that someone looks at me, not as a honest guy who say what he think and think what he say, but as an enemy... and this hurts me in the deeper.

BTW Time is a perfect gentlemen sooner or later every one have to face with the truth...
